• Now for actual news: turns out the arbitrator didn't have to make the call after all - the Montreal Canadiens and P.K. Subban have agreed on an 8 year extension worth an AAV of $9 million. [Habs Eyes on the Prize]
• Elsewhere in the FlorthEast division, our old pal Ben Bishop signed a 2 year extension giving him $5.95 mill a year with the Tampa Bay Lightning. I love the guy & he had a fantastic year next year...but that's a lot of money on a goalie with only one season as a starter under his belt. [Raw Charge]
• Puck Daddy's August series this year sees each fan base chronicle their team's most disappointing season, player, jersey, etc. Finally, one where the Blues' entries actually has competition and room for debate! Actually, there's quite a lot of room for debate as to which Blues season was most disappointing season.
