• Amazingly, it's taken until now to lose our first member of the 1980 "Miracle On Ice" team, and it happens to be one with quite a legacy. Bob Suter, father of Ryan Suter, passed yesterday at the age of 57. RIP, sir. [USA Today]

• And STILL speaking of the NFL . . . we all knew that Sabres owner Terry Pegula had more money than God. Not sure we knew he had enough scratch to outbid the likes of Donald Trump and Jon Bon Jovi. Glad he did, because the mere prospect of one of those assholes owning an NFL team would've just made me forget about the NFL forever, given recent events. So yeah, pending league approval, Terry Pegula owns the Bills now, and he will keep them in Buffalo. Good. [SB Nation]
