It's hard to win a game when the willingness to do so is only there from part of your team. Starting goaltending? Sure. Brodeur was all over the place last night and it wasn't pretty to watch, but he wanted to win. Forwards? Did anyone see the running tally they were keeping of Alexander Steen's attempted shots on goal?
Defense?

Oh, there's what needs to be fixed. Again. One goal losses are not moral victories. They are losses. The Blues have lost many games so far during this fallow stretch by a goal. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, and the Blues are about a grenade away from a blow-up trade.
