Your First "Prospect Sunday" Of 2015-16 Is Tomorrow

Everyone's gotten started, so we figured we'd better do so, too...

The Blues played their first game of 2015-16 the other day, and a celebrated rookie got his first NHL goal in his first NHL game... and the game-winning goal, no less.

The Chicago Wolves open the 2015-16 AHL season tonight with a lucky 13 Blues-contracted prospects (and six additional "non-prospects" over age 25) on the roster.

College games get started this weekend -- including the Division 1 debut of the Arizona State Sun Devils -- and the major juniors and Euro leagues have been up and running for at least the last two weeks.

So, with all that going on, we here at Prospect HQ West are going to shake off our lethargy and bring back your weekly "Prospect Sunday" features. Look to this space tomorrow for news and notes on prospect movement and injuries, Wolves and Quad City Mallards (where ECHL prospects Tesink and Lundstrom will be playing, at least to start the year) highlights, your weekly "Fab Five" selection, and whatever else we can cram in...

See you tomorrow... and as always, remember: "If we do not prepare for ourselves the role of the hammer, there will be nothing left but that of the anvil." Auf wiedersehen.
