Blues At Canadiens Morning Open Thread: Les Habs It All

The Montreal Canadiens are undefeated this season on the back of Carey Price.

Eric Bolte-USA TODAY Sports

The Blues fought through their 4-2 win against the Winnipeg Jets without an injury, despite a close call dealt to the face of Troy Brouwer by Jacob Trouba's elbow. They've only lost one game during this road trip, last Saturday to the Minnesota Wild. The Blues are tops in the Western Conference, but they're not tops in the league. That honor goes to the Montreal Canadiens, who are undefeated on the young season.

The Habs going 6-0 is largely because of the stellar play of Carey Price. Price, who backstopped them to 110 points last season. He has a 1.20 GAA and a .957 save percentage, but he needs to have his head on a swivel. Why? Vladimir Tarasenko is having fun:

"We're just having fun right now," Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko said. "The most important part of the hockey is you have to have fun on the ice. If you don't have fun, you can't play good hockey. It was a really good trip for us and we have one more game to get it done. We will play our best [today]."
