GameThread for Buffalo Sabres at St. Louis Blues, Nov 19, 2015

Blues fans will get their first look at rookie phenom Jack Eichel tonight.

The Blues historically play the Buffalo Sabres well. They've won six straight, outscoring the Sabres 22-5 in that span. To be fair, many of the Sabres teams that have visited Scottrade have been meh at best, putrid at worst. The last time Buffalo was in town, Jori Lehtera potted his first hat trick en route to a 6-1 drubbing.

That kind of lopsided win may not happen tonight. The Sabres have been playing strong without Evander Kane and Zach Bogosian, and both will be in the line-up tonight. Yes, the Sabres have allowed a good number of goals this season (they average 2.72 goals against a game), but their power play is clicking at 24.1 %, good for third in the league.

Play down to the competition at your own risk.
