GameThread for St. Louis Blues at Nashville Predators, Nov 7, 2015

The Blues continue their Central Division road trip with a visit to a team close to them in geography and standings.

Wednesday night's drama in Chicago, while fun and an amazing comeback, should not be either the default setting for the Blues or expectation for their fans. When you lose two players, Brian Elliott and Steve Ott, to injury (Ells is fine, Ott is day-to-day) while surrendering five first period goals, the only thing that can save you is an improbable comeback. Those are called improbable for a reason.

The Blues tonight can't let themselves get into an early hole, though with no travel problems and a few days rest, a repeat of Wednesday in that respect isn't probably going to happen. Jake Allen, whose recent run has been absurd will more than likely prevent a that from happening. Pekka Rinne, also, probably won't allow the Blues to jump out to an early lead.

Troy Brouwer has eight points in six straight games against the Predators, and seven of those are goals. Will we see some Brouwer Power tonight? It'd go a long way to helping the Blues to a win.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you miss Jaxx, or at the very least would complain about him less than you do about Carl Gunnarsson.

Let's do this. Let's Go Blues
