The big Swede could finally make his debut this season. After being placed on long term injured reserve with a shoulder injury, the Blues announced that Berglund has been cleared for contact
Berglund said he’s been cleared for contact and wants a few full practices to get ready for a return. #stlblues

Injuries have derailed the Blues this season, who haven't been their normal consistent selves. They are missing Jaden Schwartz, Patrik Berglund, and Steve Ott. All three players are major components of the Blues system, even if two of them are whipping boys. If Berglund can return soon it could mean we no longer have to see players like Jeremy Welsh and Jordan Caron. Nothing against those two, but they were injury replacements who have played a combined 4 games with 0 points generated. A small sample size, but a permanent player is always better than a band-aid.
