The Blues could use two points as a cushion tonight. Will they be able to capitalize on the Pens' recent scoring drought?

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Penguins haven't exactly been lighting the lamp recently, winning one out of four games last week. That game was the only one that they scored more than two goals in - a 3-1 win over the flatlining Arizona Coyotes. That snapped a four game losing streak in which they scored - unbelievably - two goals. Total. hey've been flat since the All-Star break, but that didn't stop the Pens from beating the Blues 4-2 last month in St. Louis. The Blues would love to return the favor.

Chris Porter will be in the lineup tonight so Dmitrij Jaskin can "hit the reset" button, whatever that means. Carl Gunnarsson is still injured, so Robert Bortuzzo will be back in against his old team, hopefully feeding insider information to the Blues like "defend Crosby" and "please keep the puck away from Evgeny Malkin."

That part may be easier than expected since Geno might not play tonight.
