Hey, it's still Sunday for a few more minutes...

...so I haven't technically missed out on a "Prospect Sunday" submission.

Long, busy day out here at Prospect HQ West today, most of which was spent either getting a brake job done on the Super Fly Prospect Love Hoopty, or writing my bit for tomorrow's print edition. Thankfully, both are done, and I can put something up here as a placeholder.

The biggest Prospect News O' The Day today is that all three Blues' prospects who started the NCAA tournament -- Jake Walman with providence College, and Jordan Schmaltz and Austin Poganski with North Dakota -- have made it to the Frozen Four. More details to come tomorrow.

Also, the Chicago Wolves have clawed their way back into the AHL Western Conference playoff race with three straight wins over the weekend. Among the highlights of the Wolves' strong weekend was the first pro goal by rookie Colton Parayko in today's 3-2 OT victory over the Iowa Wild.

Again, more details tomorrow. For now, it's time to take a shower and catch the last hour of "Those Low Down Blues" on KJZZ, the local NPR station. The blues and the Blues are what give my life meaning these days.

Until tomorrow, remember... "if we do not prepare for ourselves the role of the hammer, there will be nothing left but that of the anvil." Auf wiedersehen.
