Canucks At Blues Morning Open Thread: Break The Streak

Vancouver has won six in a row against the Blues. Tonight would not be the best time for number seven.

Anne-Marie Sorvin-USA TODAY Sports

The most that the Blues have gotten out of playing the Canucks recently has been a moral victory. To start this month, the Blues blew a sizable lead against the Canucks before coming back, forcing overtime, and losing. Yay?

The need to keep pace in the volatile Central Division is a strong one. The need to keep playing well in general is a strong one. The Blues blew their chance against one of two non-playoff teams remaining on their schedule. Alexander Steen also probably blew his knee. He's considered day-to-day after getting hurt just three minutes in to Saturday's game.

It's probably my fault, since I just *had* to go on about how healthy the team was getting.
