Last night sure was weird and unpredictable, huh? The Habs and Sens tried to kill each other, the Islanders absolutely routed the Capitals at the Verizon Center, the Flames beat the Canucks, and the Predators decided to play exactly one period of hockey against the Blackhawks. That was helpful, since the game involved four and a half periods.
Last night the road teams ruled the roost. Tonight, Jake Allen and the Blues hope to reverse that. If the game tonight against the Wild goes to double OT, consider me worried. If Alexander Steen scores the game winner in that double OT, I'm heading to Costco to buy one of those big bottles of fancy wine. I'll need it.
