The Blues haven't been playing well recently. We all know that. They're 1-3-2 in their last six, and have been embarrassing at home. Now we're getting the patented "no, the locker room is great!" statements from the team. Factor in injuries to Alexander Steen and Vladimir Tarasenko, and it's shaping up to be a typically great end of the year stretch for the Blues.
And then there's this, from The Sporting News' Ray Slover:
And here's news to make Blues fans feel better: Olli Jokinen will be in the lineup to plug one of the injuries. Ty Rattie was recalled from AHL Chicago to fill the other roster spot.
For those keeping up with such things, the Blues expect to have Paul Stastny centering T.J. Oshie and Jaden Schwartz, David Backes centering Dmitrij Jaskin and Patrik Berglund and Jori Lehtera with Chris Porter and Olli Jokinen, according to beat writer Norm Sanders.
Okie dokie.
