A friend of mine from beer league hockey here in Fort Wayne has been battling cancer. They did surgery to remove the tumor but it had already spread and now he is dealing with chemotherapy for the next 3 months.

The dude is only 26 years old with the best years of his life ahead of him.

He isn't a STL guy, but he is a fellow hockey guy and I know that my fellow STL Gametime folks have a healthy hatred for all things cancer.

I wanted to share his story and give anyone who was so inclined a chance to share their prayers, supportive words or their hard earned currency to help this kid out.
