The Blues' General Manager will return to a familiar position with Hockey Canada for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. Previously GM of silver medal winning Team Canada for the 2009 World Championships, Army will be joined by Montreal Canadiens General Manager Marc Bergevin, Los Angeles Kings Assistant General Manager Rob Blake, Detroit Red Wings General Manager Ken Holland and Anaheim Ducks General Manager Bob Murray.

The World Cup of Hockey will kill time before the start of the 2016-2017 NHL season. It will be played from September 16th to October 1st, and will feature absolutely no injuries to teams' key players*.

The coaching staff has yet to be selected, but it would be surprising to not see the coaches than t who won the 2014 Olympic gold: Mike Babcock, Lindy Ruff, Claude Julien, and our very own Ken Hitchcock.
