GameThread for St. Louis Blues at Toronto Maple Leafs, Jan 2, 2016

The Blues are trying some re-tooled lines tonight to boost even strength scoring. Will it work?

John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Blues are keeping their fingers crossed that the addition of Patrik Berglund and some new lines will spark the offense. To be honest, all they really need to do is get the puck to Alexander Steen. He has three goals and eight assists in his last five games against the team that drafted him.

Tonight'd be a great chance to make Toronto regret that trade. Again.

It'll be Jake Allen agains Jonathan Bernier in net tonight. Bernier is 4-10 this year with a .889 save percentage and a 3.22 GAA. Let's not boost those stats.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you're excited about the return of Patrik Berglund. Because let's admit it, you kind of are.

Let's do this. Let's Go Blues.
