Hey y'all...sorry it took so long for me to get this up on the page but...well...there's no excuse. It just slipped my mind. We were back with a full weekend of Lindenwood-Belleville hockey action.
The men hit the road and travelled to Springdale, Arkansas where they took on the University of Arkansas Razorbacks Division I team. The Ice-Lynx left "The Natural State" with a pair of wins and one player in particular left with a pretty cool milestone. I won't tell you what it is, but you can read all about it right here!!!
While the men headed south, the Lady Lynx travelled north to take on No. 4 ranked Grand Valley State. After dropping the first game of the two game series the Lady Lynx #RoarBacon'ed and pulled off an upset victory, and quite possibly clinched themselves a spot in the National Tournament. The article can be found here at this lil link!
Both the men's and women's team return home this weekend for a pair of double headers at the St. Louis Ice Zone. On Friday night the women's team takes on the University of Colorado at 7 p.m. while the men open a two game series wtih Augustana College of Illinois at 10 p.m. Saturday night sees the women host Ohio State at 6 while the men wrap up their series with the Vikings at 9 p.m. I know it's last minute but if you are looking for some affordable hockey this weekend (read free) come on up and take in some high quality hockey.
