Blues Vs. Avs Recap: The Definition of Insanity...

The Blues traveled to Denver tonight to take on the Avs at the Pepsi Center. Jake Allen would start in goal for the Blues. Your forward lines: Steen, Stastny, Brouwer...Paajarvi, Backes, Berglund...Fabbri, Lehtera, Tarasenko...Jaskin, Brozdiak, Reaves. Your Defensive Pairings: Bouwmeester, Pietrangelo...Edmundson, Shattenkirk...Gunnarsson, Parayko.

First Period:

Blues and Avs looked like they were going to play a repeat of their first meeting. The Blues were outshooting the Avs early on. The Avs would be the first to break the score sheet tonight.

Vladimir Tarasenko will not be denied his 24th goal of the year by anyone. Pietrangelo(14) and Lehtera(12) would get the assists.

Backes gets to the front of the net on the powerplay and scores his 11th of the year. Tarasenko(19) and Stastny(15) get the assists on the play.

At the end of one, it's 2-1 good guys.

Second Period:

Welcome to the team Mr. Berglund. First goal of the year, with no one getting assists.

The Blues now have a 3-1 advantage.

Make that 3-2 as Grigorenko would beat Allen.

The Avs would tie the game late in the third.
