We've been waiting on this since late May. Granted, while the wait for hockey this off-season wasn't as long as it usually is, it was still long enough. The World Cup of Hockey was great, and preseason's fun, but it doesn't count.

Jake Allen's in net. Nail Yakupov is making his Blues debut on the third line. The Blues have taken five of the last seven games that they've played in the United Center. The Blackhawks are not very good at defending against Vladimir Tarasenko.
There are lots of things that can go right tonight, but it's just game one of 82. As Jake Allen mentioned, it's a long season.
