No one look, but the Blues are on pace for an 82 win season.
I'm nearly 100% sure that pace isn't sustainable, but if we could get a full-season effort like the Blues gave in their 5-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, I think that we as a fanbase could say that we're very happy. Vladimir Tarasenko continued his dominance over the Blackhawks with a three-point (two goals and an assist) night, the Blues scored three power play goals in one period on four Blackhawks penalties, and every Blackhawks that Blues fans hate contributedto an own goal.
Tonight's home opener is against the Minnesota Wild. Former Wild coach Mike Yeo is Ken Hitchcock's successor here in St. Louis. Let's see if he gives us an advantage over his old team.
