The Blues had a great practice Monday! Their woes are on their way to being over! I mean, after all, they're playing the Buffalo Sabres tonight, and the Sabres are last in the Atlantic Division with 14 points!
Wait, the Atlantic is one of the best in the league right now? And the Blues are in 4th in the Central with just 17 points?
Crap.
Despite the power play finally clicking on Saturday, and despite the Blues managing to make it through a game without taking a stupid penalty like delay of game or too many men, their 8-4 shellacking exposed their five-on-five scoring faults and the fact that defensive communication may be lacking.
Fortunately, the Blues are 5-1-2 at home, and the Sabres are 1-3-2 on the road. Maybe things'll break in the Blues' favor tonight. Keep your fingers crossed.
