GameThread for St. Louis Blues at Dallas Stars, Nov 3, 2016

Ok, so Saturday night against the New York Rangers did not go well, and this isn't the same Blues team that knocked the Dallas Stars out of the playoffs last season. But I think we can all take solace in the fact that the goaltending duo for the Stars is still Antti Niemi and Kari Lehtonen.

The Blues have scored a goal or less in the last four games. The last time they managed to do that was 2008. Let's not pull any sorts of blasts from the past tonight unless it's blasting a goal past Niemi.

It's a Central Division game, so it's doubly important. The Stars are currently in last place with 8 points over 9 games. The Blues are in 3rd with 12 points over 10. Just because it's early in the season doesn't mean that every point doesn't count, and the best way to get them is to score goals.
