St. Louis Blues At Minnesota Wild Morning Open Thread: Road Ship Righted?

After a dominant victory against the New Jersey Devils Friday night, the Blues test their road trip mettle in Minnesota.

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

The Blues' road record this year isn't as sharp as their home one, but a 4-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center may be the catalyst needed to turn that around.

Or maybe Robby Fabbri just needs to score two goals every road game. Maybe that's the lesson learned.

Whatever the reason for the win on Friday night, the Blues did so convincingly against a team that was previously undefeated in regulation at home. Fabbri was helped out on his line by Jori Lehtera (!) and Vladimir Tarasenko. Total, the trio finished the evening wth six points, so expect to see them back together tonight.

The Wild are on a winning streak, taking their last three games. They're just four points behind the Blues in the standings. St. Louis could snap a streak and pad their own cushion tonight.
