2017 World Juniors schedule: Switzerland, Slovakia Begin Play

Today’s schedule may not feature a marquee matchup like Canada vs. Russia, but it’s still got some quality teams on the ice. Team USA takes the day off, while Switzerland and Slovakia get to start their tournament play.

Poor Latvia has to deal with Russia.

Keep your eyes on Blues prospects Nikolaj Krag Christensen (Denmark) and Adam Musil (Czech Republic). Musil, as Brian helpfully pointed out, holds dual Canadian and Czech citizenship.
