The Blues are visiting the Big Apple tonight to square off against a surprisingly average Islanders team

Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

The Blues won't be seeing their old buddy Jaroslav Halak in net tonight; Thomas Greiss is starting for the New York Islanders. Greiss is 5-4-0 with a 2.47 GAA and a .919 save percentage.

Basically he has been, much like the Islanders in general, pretty ok but mostly just average.

The Blues' abysmal 3-6-1 away record needs to get turned around in a hurry; after a homestand where the team took nine out of ten possible points, there's hope that their early season road discombobulation has been worked out. Let's see if that theory holds true against an Islanders team who has been playing better hockey as of late.

This is your gameday thread. Comment like you don't care about overpriced pickles (or whatever else comes from Brooklyn these days).

Let's do this. Let's Go Blues.
