Blues Lineup:
The Blues lost yet ANOTHER player to injury. Jori Lehtera would sit out today's game. (Funny because so did the rest of the team.) That being said, here's what the Blues rolled with in Nashville: Jaden Schwartz/Patrik Berglund/Vladimir Tarasenko...Robby Fabbri/Paul Stastny/Troy Brouwer...Magnus Paajarvi/David Backes/Dmitrij Jaskin...Scottie Upshall/Kyle Brozdiak/Ty Rattie. On defense(or lack thereof): Jay Bouwmeester/Kevin Shattenkirk...Carl Gunnarsson/Colton Parayko...Joel Edmundson/Robert Bortuzzo. Starting goalie: Jake Allen.
Game "Highlights":
Literally the only highlight from the game that the Blues posted was Upshall taking out Paul Gaustad in the first period. Here it is:
Here is the full recap video from the NHL.com folks. *Spoiler* there's a lot of Predators goals in it. FIVE. Including a Filip Forsberg hat trick.
The refs weren't helping the Blues cause either. David Backes was given two minutes for goal tender interference yet Rinne was the one that initiated the contact. I mean Rinne literally shoved Backes. Jaden Schwartz nearly had his head taken off on a cross check into the boards. No call. (No this is not a "the refs were the reason the Blues lost" post) Jake Allen was taken out of the game after the fourth Predators goal. So Phoenix Copley would make his NHL debut, and then give up his first NHL goal.
Long story short, Blues lose 5-0, looked horrible, and many Blues fans that made the trip were treated to the first loss to the Preds on the season. Look at the bright side, (or maybe not) they play again tomorrow against the Hurricanes of Carolina.
Miscellaneous Stuff:
Original recap idea that I had, and in case you were wondering what it is...It's poop pooping:

One of our fearless leaders was having a great time with a Perds fan (Also, of course not all fans are like this woman but...):
I may punch this woman before the end of the game.

Like seriously, what she had overcome to see the Preds beat the Blues once this year must be like overthrowing the Nazis.

The hit on Schwartz that wasn't called anything:

Three Stars:
Third Star: Craig Smith (1 goal, 2 assists)
Second Star: Pekka Rinne (Shutout, Whatever)
First Star: The Blues fans that made the trip to Nashville and stayed through that horror. Or Filip Forsberg. I'll go with the first one.
