GameThread for St. Louis Blues at Ottawa Senators, Mar 1, 2016

In the first game after the deadline, the Blues are ready to prove that standing pat is a good idea.

USA TODAY Sports

David Backes gave Jeremy Rutherford the perfect description of the Blues before tonight's game:

"We know who's counted on. We know that as a group, we're going to get a job done by volume and by committee. Other than Vladi Tarasenko, there's not a guy on the team that's a 30-goal scorer or a guy that's going to carry us as a one-man offensive wrecking ball. We're going to have different guys stepping up. We need three lines that are dangerous every night and a fourth line giving us tons of energy. We're in a mindset where we love the group we have here and we're on a mission to get a job done."

Get 'er done, then.

This is your game day thread. Comment like you want folks to step up.

Let's do this. Let's Go Blues.
