Part of the reason that the Blues have the potential to move into sole possession of first place in the Central Division is that the Blues've been able to take three out of four games so far this season. Unfortunately, they seem to enjoy giving the Stars a gift of a loser point. On February 16th, the Blues needed overtime and Kevin Shattenkirk to get the 2-1 win. On December 26th, it took a shootout to win 3-2.
Tonight, hopefully, will be a win outright. Last night's game gave everyone palpitations and visions of another blown third period lead, before the Blues shook it off and dominated the Ducks to close out the game. The Stars are coming off of a 5-2 win against the Blackhawks. Both teams might be a bit tired from last night's offensive explosion; let's hope that the Blues saved more than two goals for tonight.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you're happy about the potential to move into first place, but you're also aware that right now it means jack and shit.
Twelve games left.
Let's do this. Let's Go Blues.
