WHEN WE LAST SAW THE BLUES . . . :
- . . . they played pretty dang well, but the Blues ended up losing to the Blackhawks 4-3 in double overtime thanks to a goal from that one garbage fire of a human being. Late start and late end meant no recap, so you get JR's instead. [StL Today / Morning Skate]
- Second City Hockey liked the result. [Second City Hockey]
- I think The Committed Indian did too. [The Committed Indian]
- CCR and I ruminated nearly 24 hours after the fray. [SLGT]

- Disappointment. [SLGT FanPosts]
- Game 6 will start at 7pm tonight. [SLGT]
KNOW YOUR ENEMY--THOSE FUCKERS UP NORTH (AKA THE CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS):
- You know 'em . . . Second City Hockey . . . [Second City Hockey]

- In fact, the Flyers had so few shots that they set a Goddamn record. [Sportsnet]

- Meanwhile, the White Sox pulled off a very non-routine triple play thanks to some shitty baserunning. [Deadspin / Screengrabber]
VIDEO:
Because of the mandated blackout of NBCSN's feed of Game 5, I had to find illegal web streams to watch the game. In one of those feeds, during stoppages, whoever was feeding the video was showing clips from the popular show "Trailer Park Boys", a show I've never seen . . . but was rather amused by. Here's a "Best Of" from season one of the program:
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
If the series goes to Game Seven, one of us will have links. Who knows which one of us? I don't even know.
