Sure, the Coyotes may be a game under .500 right now and sure, they're well out of the playoff picture, but they've also taken down the Dallas Stars and Washington Capitals recently - the two best records in the league. The Blues have won seven games in a row against Arizona, but they've seen win streaks snapped this season when they've played down to their oppositions' levels.

Self awareness will go a long way tonight for the Blues, but so will the ability to tune out the fact that they'e short their captain. David Backes and Jake Allen are both benched for the remainder of the regular season, not good news - especially with a battle against the Blackhawks coming up on Thursday night.
