Blues Catch A Break: No Tyler Seguin In Game Seven

Some odds are falling in the Blues' favor tonight.

Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Stars' offense has been missing Tyler Seguin, but have still forced tonight's game seven. There's been some speculation that the Blues would have to deal with Seguin returning tonight, since he's been practicing with the team, but Stars coach Lindy Ruff has nipped that speculation in the bud. From Jeremy Rutherford:

"Tyler remains day to day," Ruff said. "He’s just working on trying to get back."

The nature of Seguin’s injury remains a mystery. The Stars have said it’s not related to the torn Achilles tendon that kept him out at the end of the regular season.

The Blues have been able to stymie the Stars offense several times this series; tonight would be a good night to revert to game five form.
