Blues Defeat Stars 6-1, Head To Western Conference Final

Party like it's 2001!

Your full update will be up in a bit, but everyone, let's celebrate. We get to do this for at least another round against either the San Jose Sharks or Nashville Predators.

The Blues came out strong and continued to play determined hockey. No disallowed goal thanks to an offside call would trip them up this time. They scored five goals between Kari Lehtonen and Antti Niemi, plus an empty netter to win 6-1.

This is, you're probably aware, the first time that the Blues have been to the Conference Finals since 2001. They sit four wins away from the Stanley Cup finals, thanks to a 31 save performance from Brian Elliott.
