Blues At Sharks Game Four Morning Open Thread: Try New Things

What can we expect out of the Blues tonight?

John Hefti-USA TODAY Sports

Jake Allen is starting in net for the Blues tonight. That much we do know. After a fairly decent game, the fourth line of Magnus Paajarvi, Kyle Brodziak, and Dmitrij Jaskin have probably earned another chance.

The rest of the lines? Who knows, but what we do know is that the lines aren't necessarily the issue. Is it momentum? Let's ask Hitch:

It may be more the Sharks having the Blues system figured out. It may be that the Blues, after playing every other day for a month an a half, are just damn tired. You don't get more than a night off between games in this grind (unless you're the Eastern Conference's marquee series), and two seven game series aren't easy to get through.

This is your morning open thread. Check back for another edition of Road Music with CCR, your preview, and a few other goodies. While you're waiting, head to Fear The Fin and cringe at the positivity.
