During the first two periods of last night's game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Tampa Bay Lightning, I found myself thinking "this is exactly how the Blues need to respond to being down in a 2-1 series hole."
Then the Bolts' third period started and I stopped thinking that.
Seriously, though, a dominant bounce back game would go farther than a pretty decent first period. It would ensure that the Blues had a chance to snag the momentum from the Sharks, and to bring the series home tied 2-2. It would probably give all of our hearts and livers a well-deserved rest, too.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you want to see Martin Jones let in a goal for the first time in seven periods.
Let's do this. Let's Go Blues.
