Game "Highlights"
So it would all come down to tonight. Do or die for the boys in Blue. Too bad the Sharks looked like the team that was down 3-2 in this series as they would score just four minutes into the game. The Blues would give the Sharks a breakaway chance that Thornton pulled a Brad Boyes on. Too bad Pavelski was there to stuff it under the pads of Elliott for the 1-0 bad guy lead.
Moving forward to the second period now, when Joel Ward would deflect a Brent Burns shot to make it 2-0 Sharks.
Ward wouldn't be done yet though. In the third period he would score again. This time on a pass in front from Logan Couture that would make it 3-0 Sharks and at that point things were looking bleak.
Well, when it rains it pours, because the Sharks weren't done there...Joonas Donskoi would give the Sharks a 4-0 lead and send fans into a slow depression that this would be the last period of Blues hockey for awhile...
At least it wouldn't be a shutout. Vladimir Tarasenko would finally get his first point/goal in the series. Gotta love Kenny Albert's disappointment on this goal call.
He would add a second goal just moments later.
The Sharks would add an empty net goal and seal the 5-2 victory and the 4-2 series win over the Blues in San Jose. The Blues will head to the offseason, while the Sharks await the winner of the Pens/Lightning game tomorrow night.

Three Stars:
They were all Sharks. Congrats to them and their long 25 year wait. Hashtag sarcasm. In all seriousness though, congrats. The better team won that series.
