Stars At Blues Game Four Morning Open Thread: St. Louis Can Capitalize On Poor Goaltending

The Dallas Stars have quite the ineffective two-headed monster in net.

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

So, about those two goalies that the Dallas Stars have...

Who would've thought that they would've been the potential  undoing of the Western Conference's best team? Everyone chatted up how Dallas' defense was going to be a liability, and how their run and gun style may be a risk, but did anyone expect Kari Lehtonen and Antti Niemi to be this much of an issue?

Well, aside from former Thrashers fans, of course.

Tonight the Blues have a chance to send this series back to Dallas with a 3-1 lead. The Blues could be, with another dominant performance, on the cusp of their first Western Conference Finals appearance in 15 years.

Tonight's game means a lot. I hope the Blues saved some goals from Tuesday.

This is your morning open thread. Check back later on for a Lighting the Lamp, your preview, and your GDT at a normal start time. While you're waiting, head over to Defending Big D and see if they have a clue what goalie's starting tonight for the Stars.
