The Blues A pre-season squad took game one today. Will their B-squad be able to capture game two?

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

At home this afternoon, the Blues handedly dispatched the Columbus Blue Jackets by a score of 7-3. Robby Fabbri, Paul Stastny, and Samuel Blais each had a goal apiece, while Kevin Shattenkirk potted two and Kenny Agostino added two of his own. The Blues dominated in faceoffs (55% to 45%) and hits 32-21, and only had issues containing Scott Hartnell and his two goals. Considering that the Jackets had something called a "Joonas Korpisalo" in net, maybe a little bit of a lopsided score was expected.

In Columbus tonight, the Blues will be icing their B-squad. From the Blues official website:

Forwards: Andrew Agozzino, Kyle Brodziak, Jacob Doty, Landon Ferraro, T.J. Galiardi, Jordan Kyrou, MacKenzie MacEachern, Adam Musil, Eric Nystrom, Magnus Paajarvi, Ty Rattie, Yan Stastny

Defense: Robert Bortuzzo, Chris Butler, Joel Edmundson, Morgan Ellis, Carl Gunnarsson, Jordan Schmaltz, Scooter Vaughan

Goalies: Jordan Binnington, Pheonix Copley

Hey! Both squads got a Stastny!

Tonight's game will be streamed live on the Blue Jackets radio network; you can tune in here. If you're more the pre-season hockey viewing kind, you can also view it via the Blue Jackets website.
