The 2017 NHL All Star Game is in LA this year, and already it’s gifted us with this:

I want to watch that on repeat until the day that I die. Here’s a close-up, suitable for framing:

Today’s the main event, and the game’s sticking with the three on three tournament format from last year. The Central will square off against the San Jose Sharks heavy Pacific Division first, and then the Atlantic plays the Metropolitan Division. Friendly note: Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin are finally teammates together, so Carey Price might want to hold on to his cowboy hat.
Vladimir Tarasenko wasn’t even featured yesterday in the Skills Competition, because right now I don’t know if anyone wants to be reminded of the tire fire that are the St. Louis Blues at the moment. He should play a big role today in the ASG, however.
Puck drop is at 2:15 Central on NBC.
