So long Ty Rattie. Out of all the right wingers drafted in the 2nd round of the 2011 Entry Draft (I also included Rakell who was drafted last in the first round), you saw the least amount of ice time. For the time you did spend on the ice wearing The Note, you had positive corsi but saw the fewest amount of total events (corsi for + corsi against) out of your 2nd round peers. And for a player who had the lowest PDO out of your cohort, you managed to score .7 points per game in the AHL placing you above the AHL average for forwards. While you might miss the opportunity to play in the Blue Note, rejoice in the fact that at least Armstrong freed you and you were picked up, unlike your teammate Magnus Paajarvi who is now destined to spend the rest of his career playing for the Kansas City whatevers once they are established.
Good luck in Raleigh, and score a hatty tomorrow night.
