The Blues and Predators have almost always played a tight game - look at last year's playoffs if you don't believe me - and it's no shock that tonight's matchup might be one of the toughest ones that the Blues have had all season.
Perhaps, then, it's surprising that the Blues are turning to Carter Hutton for tonight's game and Jake Allen for tomorrow against Minnesota. Hutton has been solid in four appearances, going 4-0-0 with an impressive 1.71 GAA and a .943 save percentage. He needs the work.
The Predators are just five points behind the Blues in the standings. Tonight's game won't be easy. Let's hope that Hutts is up to the challenge.
This is your gameday thread. Comment like you never want to see another turkey again.
Let's do this. Let's Go Blues.
