GameThread for St. Louis Blues at Edmonton Oilers, Dec 21, 2017

It's very unfortunate that the most brutal stretch of the Blues' schedule so far this season has coincided with the loss of Jaden Schwartz. After back to back losses to the Winnipeg Jets and Calgary Flames, the Blues head into Edmonton tonight to hopefully stave off the Oilers.

The Oilers are in second to last place in the Western Conference, a disappointing beginning to the the season. They're only two games under .500 and seven points out of the last wild card spot, so you can't write them off just yet. This won't be easy.
