Somehow, despite the Blues middling December, they're still clinging to first place in the Central Division. In second pace by a point are the Nashville Predators, who have played three fewer games than the Blues.

What that means, is that the Blues need to pick up the pace and take care of business, and the first course of business needs to be taking the Predators down a peg.
