A positive for tonight game (other than December being over) is that Jay Bouwmeester's been activated from the IR. This should boost an already solid penalty kill.

It probably won't help the Blues' offense, but we'll take what good news we can get. Ivan Barbashev is still with Schenn and Tarasenko; Tage Thompson will be skating with Paul Stastny and Alexander Steen, so if some young guys were looking for an opportunity to prove themselves, well, here that is.
