Jaden Schwartz has missed time in the past with ankle injuries, and he may be missing time in the future for the same thing. A key part of the Blues’ dynamic top line (he is tied for second on the team with 13 goals and tied for first in points at 34), the thought of a Schwartz-less team is unfathomable. The Blues have slumped following his absence from the line-up in the past.
Schwartz scored the Blues’ first goal of the game in the first period, but later took a Mike Green wrist shot off of the ankle that left him incapable of putting weight on his right leg.
