Canucks at Blues morning open thread: Streakin’

So, remember when the Blues couldn’t win on the road? Remember when we were terrified of extended road trips? Remember when Eastern Canada (and its subsidiary, Detroit) hadn’t yet been plowed through by a Blues team on a mission?

Well, the Blues swept an entire road trip 5-0 for the first time in franchise history. Of course, the Blackhawks are also on a five game winning streak, so the Blues didn’t gain any ground on them, but they did put a nice three point cushion between themselves and the Predators, and they’ve improved their road record to 13-13-1.

Last night we saw a Huttout, and tonight hopefully we’ll be treated to an equally good performance from Jake Allen. Welcome home - for one game.
