Vladimir Tarasenko makes a little girl’s birthday

I’m not crying, YOU’RE CRYING

NHL: St. Louis Blues at Minnesota Wild Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Those of you who know me know that I’m not an emotional person. It takes a lot to get me to tear up, let alone cry.

So thanks, Vladimir Tarasenko. You made me cry.

Arianna Dougan and Tarasenko go back a few years, when he first met her as a child recently diagnosed with neuroblastoma. She’s relapsed four times.

She brought Vladdy a box of chocolate covered strawberries that he’d “probably” share with his teammates (generous of him, because I would’ve hidden those buggers), and then gave her and her mother a trip with the Blues on the team’s plane to hang out with the team at their hotel in Phoenix and Denver.

And then the whole team sang happy birthday to her.

Grab a tissue, it’s ok. We’re all friends here. No judging.
