Tonight marks the last night of the Blues’ West Coast swing, decidedly the hardest part of this final stretch. Saturday night they’ll be in Arizona, taking on the Coyotes. The ‘Yotes are the second worst team in the league, but they’re still 17 points above the Avalanche in the standings, so there’s that.
The San Jose Sharks, tonight’s opponent, are leading the Pacific Division again and are two points behind the Blackhawks for the best team in the Western Conference. They’re dealing with two very different teams just a couple of days apart.
The Blues’ win streak may have ended on Wednesday night, but tonight could be an ok night to try for another one. If all else fails, there’s always Saturday.
