Back on February 16th, the Blues defeated the Canucks 4-3 at home. It was the final win in a six game winning streak that welcomed new head coach Mike Yeo in style, and the last win before a five game losing streak that came before a five game win streak.
Man, this is one streaky team.
It looks right now that they’ve streaked (struck?) themselves into the playoffs. With ten games left in their season, the Blues are third in the Central Division and a comfortable eight points ahead of the Los Angeles Kings for the last wild card spot. Barring a massive collapse, they’re in.
The Vancouver Canucks, again, are out. They’re 29-34-9 and have 67 points on the year. They can still be a pain in the ass, though, and they could spoil the Blues’ homecoming.
