I’m not going to lie: National Puppy Day just isn’t the same without David Backes.

Regardless, there’s no reason why the Blues can’t throw their fans a bone and win one tonight on home ice. The Canucks are well outside of the realm of playoff possibility. The Blues, however, can further lock in their chances tonight.
