Tage Thompson agrees to entry level deal with Blues

The Blues’ 2016 first rounder will report to Chicago.

The Blues have made a pretty big signing today in getting Tage Thompson to agree to a three year, entry level deal. The contract begins for the 2017-2018 season, and Thompson will be reporting to the Chicago Wolves.

Thompson, a center with ridiculously good hair and playing ability, had 19 goals and 32 points this season with the UConn Huskies. He’s twice gold in the 2018 U-20 World Championships, scoring a goal and four assists in seven games played.

Thompson is commonly cited as the Blues’ top prospect and has the nickname of “only decent depth at center the team has in the prospect pool.*”
